My moms neighbor feeds all the squirrels & birds what can she do?

they have ruined her garden, especailly all the squirrels. She pours buckets of food out each day and they bury there peanuts in her yard too. There are peanut trees growing everywere in her yard now. They look like small weed trees and also lots of bird poop from the birds?? what can she do..Are the squirrels part of the rodent family and do they carry germs ??

Squirrels are alright but crows are generally pests the world over. I don't think you are technically allowed to be feeding crow and pigeons because they are really a nuisance in areas where their populations are out of control.





Call you local health authorities or any special body which deals with animals. They should be able to give you some good advice. They may also be able to come down and check up on your neighbour.My moms neighbor feeds all the squirrels %26amp; birds what can she do?

We used to feed our squirrels in the back yard too, but we weren't overrun with them. We had a few that came looking for peanuts and that was it, they didn't ruin anything and only a few birds came with them.





What you have is a problem! I agree with everyone else here by contacting authorities or even just stop at the police station and ask them if there's something you can do about this neighbor. Living in a small neighborhood, you have to respect those around you which your neighbor is not. I know how this feels as our neighbors do nothing but fight day and night! They weren't fond if the squirrels but like I said, there were just a few here.
I'd enjoy the nature. I love animals.
