Do squirrels like college campuses or something?

- I've been to a few college campuses on the East Coast and they all had a lot of squirrels and more than what you would see in a neighborhoodDo squirrels like college campuses or something?
It's actually because they're imitating the mating behaviors of college students, and thus reproducing more rapidly. If we mixed in tiny little condoms with the the peanuts we toss to them, this problem would quickly go away.Do squirrels like college campuses or something?
Oak trees. And there are a lot of nuts on college campuses. If there is any logical explanation, the trees are planted en mass instead of varieties. And oak trees live a long time, requiring little maintenance. And there is little to no vehicular traffic so the squirrels have a safe environment to live. The students probably feed them too, which attracts more squirrels. A constant food source and a good neighborhood. I'd want to live there too if I were a squirrel. The architecture is aesthetically pleasing. Perhaps we have squirrels with good taste.
More acorns I guess :-)
Definetly...Either they are the smartest animals in the world or its the very messy and clumsy students who leave tons of garbage and food everywhere. THey are everywhere though and almost look like freshman scurrying to class early in the morning...
