Plagued by squirrels!?

We are trapping so many that we are running out of recipes. Since the canning books are silent on the topic, does anyone have a good way to “put them up” for the winter? Also, are conventional tanning methods effective on the pelts?”Plagued by squirrels!?
What are feeding your squirrels? I just use corn as a bait for the trap and can not get as much as you do. The pelts are tanned just like any other animal pelt you just have to use smaller tools. If you are really good you can sell the pelts on eBay as fox and those buyers will never know. As for canning

the ideas are endless, squirrel instead of beef in beef bourgouine ,squirrel instead of turkey in turkey tetterzine, you get the idea.

I just have to keep the dogs out of the hunting area otherwise they scare the squirrels off. Also I have found the corn I use, type and quantity will effect the amount of squirrels I acquire.Plagued by squirrels!?
Christmas tree ornaments!
If you are harvesting more than you can use, then stop harvesting them until you run out of your current supply.
